The manufacturing process of EkoKLINKIER bricks is carried out in accordance with the requirements in the scope of environment protection as a result of the application of modern firing technology. The process plant incorporates desulphurizing system efficiently eliminating harmful substances from flue gases. Therefore the surroundings of the facility are still beautiful natural areas - the Facility is situated in the buffer zone of Poleski National Park.
The mineral raw material – clay slate accompanying to the hard coal deposits which was stored at the mine waste dump previously, actually is used as the main production component in order to protect our natural environment.
Additionally the residual carbon content in ceramic material are used in course of firing process giving significant energy savings.
All actions specified above among others constitute the Environment Management System implemented in the whole organization of our owner i.e. Lubelski Węgiel ""BOGDANKA"" S.A. confirmed in April 2003 in the form of Certificate ISO 14001 (certification by SGS Polska Sp. z o.o. w Warszawie).
